Each project begins with the requirements and the specifications provided by the customer. Size and complexity of the project define a complexity of requirements analysis, and during this process we are understanding the scope of the project, and the type of product.
A key aspect of product success is understanding how the product will be used. Together with customers we are working on purpose definition, user needs, product functions, success criteria and product foundation elements.
As a part of the internal design stage, a feasibility study is conducted in order to objectively present the strengths and weaknesses of a proposed project. Depending on customer needs during this process we can be focused on different subjects: technical, economic, legal, operational and scheduling.
We are also taking care about organization of product functional elements. Covering the early phase of the development process we can help with the product concept definition (who are the users, which problem product will solve etc.), and also taking care about User interface (how the user will use the product) and of course mechanical aspects of the product.
After the product is well defined we are starting with the Hardware design. The few following steps will ensure that the product will work as expected and fulfil requirement criteria. We are starting with the Schematic and major component selection (considering quality targets, availability, and component cost).
The next step is to transfer the electronics architecture to a custom PCB design, which integrates all functions, and requirements such a number of layers, type of assembly, board size etc. During the whole process we stay focused on quality, reliability, cost and compliance with the standards.
During this stage we are also taking care about Mechanical aspects of the product, and all mechanical parts which need to be developed and produced.
To transfer product from the design to the mass production phase requires the consideration of various aspects: technical, organisational, economic, human etc. We are helping our customers to plan and accomplish this process successfully taking into account:
– the complete product life cycle (context and issues)
– specify and implement production technologies and adapted industrial standards and tools
– specify the human resources needed and suggest appropriate organisations
– be the interface between the design office, the production service and the purchasing unit
